When Lewis & Clark and many other well noted explorers came to the Mississippi Valley, they called this land Goshen, for it was plentiful. Like the land, Goshen Blend has a sweet, smooth, earthy body with a twist—light, bright, and clean acidity. One of Africa’s finest and most distinctly different coffees, Goshen roasts two different Ethiopian offerings. Our Harrar produces amazingly distinct blackberry and bakers chocolate tones. The perfumed scents of citrus, floral, and honey can be noted in the Ethiopian Yergacheffe. Both are light to medium bodied coffees, and their brilliant acidity also brings a unique experience when drinking.

Erato’s Wine Shop of St. Louis and Edwardsville wanted a coffee that profiled nicely with their wines; naturally they came to us! Goshen, after months of coffee tastings, finally created a coffee akin to a Classic Bordeaux or Sauvignon. Erato Blend is a perfect find for the finely tuned palette.

Our Midwest interpretation of a West Coast espresso. It’s big, bold, earthy body has a wonderful lingering crema. Great for flavored lattes; we also highly recommend Black Dog for those who love to brew their own espresso at home.
